The NSW government has reached an agreement with the federal government over schools funding and will provide an extra $6.4 billion over the next 10 years.

Premier Gladys Berejiklian on Wednesday announced NSW had reached an agreement with the federal government over the funding following months of negotiations.
The agreement ensures all government, Catholic and independent schools across NSW are “fairly” funded and have funding certainty for 2019 and beyond, NSW Education Minister Rob Stokes said in a statement.
